What causes dry skin
The skin has two layers: the epidermis (outer) and dermis (lower). The dermis has a basal layer of cells that multiply upward to form the epidermis, whose surface layer, the stratum corneum, loses moisture to the atmosphere. In dry winter weather the surface dehydrates.
What Gly-Seb does
To prevent cracking and shedding, Gly-Seb provides emollients that leave a thin film of wax on the skin, preventing moisture loss and keeping the skin moist and supple.
Directions
A warm-water bath with Gly-Seb is recommended.
